Beckett II

Becks is our introduction to the Weimaraner breed. He was added to our family in 2017 as a pet and family companion. Becks has a very active and independent personality. He has been a mountain dog since the very beginning. He enjoyed shed hunting with us as a young dog and does not like to be leashed up or confined. He loves to hunt and has been a natural born hunter from a young age. He has hunted and retrieved doves, pheasants, and chukars. Becks is a long ranging dog and will venture well out to 300 yards looking for birds or jack rabbits. Becks is a natural born bayer. Once he has located a hare he will instantly begin to bark as he follows the hot trail. Running him in the sage brush fields during rabbit season is a blast as you're sure to see a few rabbits, some flushing right towards you. Aside from hunting Becks was our first competition sport dog. He introduced us to the fast CAT, coursing ability, and dock diving world. He earned titles quickly during fast CAT and coursing ability as he loves to chase the plastic bunny.

Becks is a resilient dog! As a younger dog, and even now, he would spend multiple days in the field non-stop searching for the next animal to hunt. His tracking desire is strong and he is quick to learn the next task at hand. Becks looks to please his owners and is food motivated.

We appreciate all that he has brought to our program as a pet and fun competitor. He is not an active part of our breeding program as he does not meet the standard based on his coloring. He continues to bless our lives as a pet and as a puppy raiser.
